So I actually stepped into a tick layer of wet cement.
I was walking around the zoo, on my break, and decided to take a look at the Cuba exhibit where they keep the flamingo, spoonbills and such. They were loading up wheelbarrows at the end of the exhibit and walking to the front side of the place to pour the cement to make water pools and walking paths for the public.
So I walked through the exhibit and when I got near the end everybody started to scream STOP!!!! To late, both my feet were submerged. They had already put cement on a small part of the road there to see if the cement was good before going to work on the the part that was further away. I guess it's a good thing I don't work for the mob...
And yes, cement shoes dry quickly and are quite heavy to walk in, D'OH!
